Ingredients

Gnocchi

Celery Stick

Beef & Pork Mince
or use your preferred variety.

Ground Basil

Ground Rosemary

shredded or grated
Basil Leaves
diced to garnish
Instructions
Heat 1 tbsp Olive Oil in a large fry pan over medium high heat.
Add brown onion, carrot, celery and garlic to the pan.
Cook for a few minutes, stirring regularly, until onion softens.
Add mince to pan, break up the clumps and cook until mince turns brown.
Add beef stock to the pan then bring to a boil.
Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, bay leaves, oregano, basil, rosemary & thyme. Stir to mix through then bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to medium then cook for a further 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Remove pan from heat and discard bay leaves.
Pre-heat a fan forced oven to 180°C (350°F).
Cook gnocchi according to packet instruction. Drain then set aside.
Add gnocchi to the pan and stir to mix through.
Pour into a baking dish, sprinkle with mozarella.
Place in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until mozarella is melted and golden brown.
Remove from oven, garnish with diced basil and serve.
