Keema is a classic Indian dish that is really simple to make. There is not a lot of complicated steps to create a really full flavoured beef dish
The beef mince is cooked and simmered in a range of both aromatic and flavoursome spices including, Chilli, Garam Masala, Cumin, Coriander and Turmeric. Although it’s spiced it won’t burn your mouth. This turns a simple beef mince into a wonderful aromatic and tasty meal. Serve with Rice or naan to create a quick, simple & easy to cook meal.
If you serve this dish with rice, it would typically be recommended to be a long grain rice such as basmati. However I have a preference for Jasmine rice as I think it is a moister rice and I think better complements a dish such as this. However it’s your preference that matters.
When simmering this dish as a final step to letting the spices soak through the meal, just be careful to not let it dry out, keep the dish moist before serving.
