Instructions
Beef Meatballs
In a large bowl add beef mince, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, onion, ginger and garlic.
Mix to combine all ingredients. This is best achieved by using your hands.
Divide mixture to roll and create approx 12 meatballs. Each meatball will be a little bigger than a golf ball size.
Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium high heat.
Once oil is hot, add meatballs to pan and cook until all sized are browned and meatballs are cooked through. About 8-9 minutes.
Remove meatballs from pan and add to saucepan with teriyaki sauce (refer teriyaki sauce instructions below).
Coat meatballs with sauce and simmer for approx 2 minutes.
Remove from heat, garnish with spring onions and serve. Serve with Jasmine rice or by itself.
Teriyaki Sauce
Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium high heat.
Add garlic and cook for 30-60 seconds.
Add soy sauce, 2 tbsps water, brown sugar & ginger. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
In a separate small bowl, add cornstarch and 1 tbsp water and stir to combine. Add to saucepan.
Cook sauce until thickened and continue to simmer until meatballs are cooked and ready to be added to the saucepan.
