Meatballs are such a simple favourite meal for many people. You can serve them with your favourite vegetable, or perhaps with rice if they are cooked with a nice sauce. They are very versatile. This is a nice version that uses Mexican inspired ingredients to season & spice the meatballs.
The taco seasoning flavoured meatballs are oven baked in a tomato salsa to a juicy moist perfection. Topped with Mozzarella & Parmesan provides a beautiful cheesy finish and a simple meatballs dish is transformed in to a delightful lightly spiced and seasoned meal.
Although meatballs are a little messy to make, they usually provide a simple easy hearty meal that pleases the family.
We serve this meatball dish with ‘dirty rice’ from this recipe.
