This bread bowl is so easy to make and a very tasty snack to have and share with your family or friends.
The melted cheese covers the sour cream, bacon and tomato filling that lies just below the surface and fills the bowl. Straight out of the oven, the sourdough loaf is beautifully crispy and crunchy. Once you have finished off the filling with the toasted dipping slices, you can then cut the loaf and start to eat that as well.
Once you start eating it, you can’t stop and there won’t be much conversation going on as everyone will be too focused on getting their share of this fabulous snack.
I will admit that this is probably not the lowest calorie snack you will have, but there is some tomato in this recipe, so it can’t be all bad!! – can it?
