Simple, Easy Lasagne

Lasagne has been on our family menus for many, many years.  I expect that is also the same for many other families.  We have had a lot of variations over the years however the lasagne we like best is this really simple, really easy to make version.

This lasagne is mainly mince, pasta sauce and pasta sheets.  Topped with evaporated milk and shredded cheese which melts beautifully in the oven and provides a lush finish to this dish.  It is so simple to make and with relatively few ingredients, it just could not be easier.  Serve with a your favourite vegetables or salad and you have a very hearty week night meal.

Leftovers taste even better when reheated the next day.  If there is a slight chance of not finishing this in a day or so, you can also freeze it very easily to have on those occasions when you don’t have time to cook.

Very simple, very easy to make, you should definitely try this dish.

Recipe Notes

For some reason, I always like this lasagne even better when leftovers are reheated the next day.

This lasagne also is also good for freezing to have on another night when you are busy and don't have time to cook.

You can also add vegetables or other ingredients to your preference.  Our family prefer it simple per this recipe and add other food items when serving.
