Baked Gnocchi Bolognaise

This is really nice variation to the more traditional Spaghetti Bolognaise by using gnocchi as the added pasta.

The mince is simmered with the added vegetables to release their flavour and combine beautifully. The gnocchi is added before being topped with mozarella and baked to a lovely finish.

A simple, easy to make and prepare pasta dish.

This is one of those pasta dishes where the longer you simmer the mince mixture, the more the flavour is released. This recipe suggests you simmer for 30 minutes however if you have time, extend that to 1 hour or longer.

The fragrant aroma coming from the pan as this is simmering on the stove is just fantastic and you will be eagerly awaiting it to finish.
